Beecher/Corunna Bus Stop Move
The "inbound SW corner" bus stop that has been located at Corunna Rd. and Ballenger Rd. has been relocated further west of the intersection.
The old bus stop sign has been moved to the new location, but there is still a "non-MTA" bench at the intersection.
The Beecher/Corunna bus will no longer stop for passengers at the Corunna Rd. and Ballenger Rd. intersection due to it being a turn, and merge lane, only.

DUPONT ROUTE #5
ROUTE CHANGE
MONDAY, JULY 11, 2011
MTA’s Revision for “on hold” buses:
In the past, the fixed route bus service has run with some buses on hold for the late arrival on some routes during certain times of the day.
Currently, the buses arrive and depart every 30 minutes with the next bus arriving within 15 minutes of the last bus.
To better accommodate some routes that have high passenger counts, we have added service. Therefore, buses now departing the downtown transportation center between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday will depart at their scheduled times. Buses will not be held for late arrivals between these hours. Passengers who ride routes that carry large amounts of passengers should be aware that they may need to catch an earlier bus. Buses departing after 6:30 p.m. may be held for late arriving buses.
On behalf of the Mass Transportation Authority, we would like to thank you for your patience and support during these renovations and service changes.
If you need further information, please contact the MTA Customer Service department at (810) 767-0100.

SERVICE BULLETIN
FOR PASSENGERS
REGARDING
SERVICE AND NON-SERVICE ANIMALS
ON VEHICLES
Drivers have been instructed to accommodate what is reasonable.
The customer must evaluate what is truly reasonable under those circumstances, as well. Given that dogs are the most common form of service animals, they usually sit at the person´s feet, under the seat, directly beside the mobility aide, beside the wheelchair or the scooter, or between the knees of the individual. If it is a small animal it might even sit in the lap of the individual or be in some type of carrier.
Any animal or reptile other than service animals brought on board an MTA vehicle must be in an appropriate service carrier. The carrier must fit either on the passenger´s lap or between the passenger´s feet. Passengers will not be allowed to board with animals or reptiles that are not in an appropriate service carrier. The animal or reptile is not allowed out of the service carrier while on board the MTA
vehicle.
