MTA Title VI Notice

 

 In compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, below are links to documents relating to Title VI. Please read the 'Title VI Procedures' first as it will outline how to file a complaint with MTA.

The Mass Transportation Authority operates its programs and services without regard to race, color, and national origin in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. Any person who believes she or he has been aggrieved by any unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint with the Mass Transportation Authority.

 

A complainant may file a complaint directly with the Federal Transit Administration by filing a complaint with the Office of Civil Rights, Attention: Title VI Program Coordinator, East Building, 5th Floor-TCR, 1200 New Jersey Ave., SE, Washington D.C. 20590 If information is needed in another language, contact 800-555-1212

 

The Title VI Program was adopted by the MTA Board of Directors on November 20, 2014. The Program identifies the Public Participation Plan, Language Assistance Plan, Service Standards and Policies, among other things. Please contact Charlene Kowalski for more information.
