Grand Blanc Job Transportation Efforts
The Call for Transportation:
The Grand Blanc Township DDA, Michigan Works and Mott Community College Workforce Development have reached out to MTA stating that there is a need by companies in the Holly/Baldwin Rd. area in Grand Blanc to have transportation for employees. MTA along with its community partners are evaluating the need for this transportation and working to create partnerships with the businesses in order to support those efforts. This site will provide the latest updates on the project as we move forward.
Collaborative Efforts and Partnerships:
Meeting – 12/9/2025 at Fessler & Bowman:
MTA in conjunction with the Grand Blanc Township DDA, Michigan Works GST, and Mott Community College held a meeting with businesses in the Holly/Baldwin area DDA district on Tuesday, December 9th. Several area businesses attended to discuss the transportation needs in that area. MTA stressed the importance of partnerships and buy in from the businesses which will create sustainability for this type of service. The DDA further stated that there was money for transportation in their budget and that they could help businesses out with the associated costs. MTA provided a survey for businesses to take and provide feedback on. MTA will utilize the feedback to analyze the transportation needs in that area and create some transportation options to bring back to the group. Another meeting will be held in the future to further discuss this topic.
